CNC Milling

CNC Drilling

For example, spot drills are used to create shallow or pilot holes, while reamers are used to finish surfaces to achieve the exact dimensions of a previously drilled hole.

Electrodischarge machining (EDM) is a process that uses spark erosion to cut features into a metal workpiece. In sinker EDM and wire EDM, the workpiece is immersed in a dielectric fluid, generating high-voltage sparks between it and a conductive electrode. These sparks melt the workpiece material, creating a cavity in the workpiece. Sinker EDM is particularly well-suited for precision machining applications, achieving tolerances as tight as +0.004 inches. It is widely used in the manufacture of precision plastic injection molds.
